WWE star says Andrew Tate ‘fits in perfectly’ after ‘cockroach cell’ claims

Former RAW Women's Champion Rhea Ripley has poked fun at controversial influencer Andrew Tate.

Tate, 36, whose highly controversial videos on dating, masculinity and general life advice have been viewed by millions, is in Romanian custody on charges of rape and human trafficking.

He was one of the most searched people in the world last year and is known for leading a lavish lifestyle, that was until he found himself locked up in a cell.

Ripley sent a five-worded message to Tate via Instagram after he claimed that cockroaches, lice, and bed bugs are his only friends in prison.

Ripley, known as the The Nightmare, said Tate would "fit in perfectly" among them.

She recently featured in the 30th-anniversary episode of RAW and demanded a rematch for The Judgment Day against The Usos wrestling team.

Earlier today (January 25), Tate described the case against him as "empty" before being taken for questioning at Romania's organised crime unit.

His brother Tristan has also been arrested on charges of rape and human trafficking.

The former Big Brother housemate said "There is no justice in Romania."

The brothers have been detained since December 29.

It is not the first time Tate has been on the receiving end of repartee from a high profile figure.

On 27 December, Tate sent a tweet to climate activist Greta Thunberg boasting about his car collection.

“Please provide your email address so I can send a complete list of my car collection and their respective enormous emissions,” he wrote.

Greta Thunberg replied, much to the delight of the Twitter, by saying: “yes, please do enlighten me. email me at [email protected]

The tweet almost instantly became one of the top 10 most retweeted ever.

Tate, who grew up in Luton, has previously described himself as "absolutely a sexist" and "absolutely a misogynist" as well as stating that women "belong in the home" and "can't drive."
