President Donald Trump has made an appearance this afternoon in what is likely to be one of his last as President of the United States. After multiple failed attempts to overrun the results of the US President Election, President Trump has now brought the allegations of election fraud to the Georgia Senate runoffs, which will decide the fate of President-elect Joe Biden’s time in office. Speaking on Wednesday, President Trump said: “We will never give up, we will never concede”
Social media users have reacted in confusion over the bizarre appearance.

The President’s appearance comes as the Republican-led Senate and Democratic-controlled House of Representatives are due to meet to formally certify rival Joe Biden’s victory in the November election.
Mr Trump’s Wednesday address was made to thousands of the President’ supporters, from a grassy expanse known as the Ellipse near the White House.

The President has appeared in a bulletproof box to address the masses in the US following the outcome of the Georgia Senate elections.
Mr Trump’s administration likely thought the precautions were suitable given the very temperamental political situation in the US at the moment.
Even though the President has many supporters, a lot of people in the US also oppose his politics.
And Presidents of the past have fallen victim to assassination attempts, so it’s very likely Mr Trump was just taking extra care.
