Chinese woman brags she ‘evaded’ airport’s coronavirus checks by taking meds

Panic has set in at airports across Europe after a Chinese woman from Wuhan bragged that she evaded a coronavirus screening as she entered France.

The woman, known only as Yan, uploaded photos of two women at a restaurant in France onto social media platform WeChat and complained she had felt unwell.

Yan said she had flu-like symptoms since before leaving Wuhan earlier this week.

She added: “I had a fever and a cough before I left – I was so scared. I quickly took some medicine and checked my temperature.

“Luckily, the temperature was controlled and I had a smooth journey through the border.”
