Boy, 12, stabbed in head in sickening daylight park attack caught on video

A 12-year-old boy was brutally stabbed in the head in a knife attack caught on video at a park in the West Midlands.

The shocking clip – shared by West Midlands Police – shows a gang attacking the victim in Netherton Park in Dudley at around 5pm on June 24, Birmingham Live reports.

In the disturbing clip, youths repeatedly kick a child lying on the ground.

One of the attackers then batters the kid with his fist and something might be in his hand.

Police said the young victim suffered three knife wounds to the head, a fractured arm, and had his phone taken during the violence.

They have since branded the robbery as "nasty" and have issued the footage in a bid to trace one of the suspects.

Anyone who recognises him is urged to come forward.

PC Emily Wallin, from force CID at Dudley, said: "This was a nasty attack but fortunately the knife wounds were not serious.

"He was left with a fractured arm and the whole experience was extremely traumatic for him.
