Aurora Fire Rescue responds to report of chemical spill at Gaylord Rockies resort
A loading dock at the Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center has been evacuated as Aurora Fire Rescue crews and the South Adams County hazardous materials team investigate a spill that has sent one person to the hospital.
Fire Lt. Ben Pfeiffer said employees at the Aurora resort reported that chemicals had spilled into some of the drains Monday afternoon. A loading dock on the north side of the resort has been evacuated as crews try to determine what the chemicals are and the extent of the spill.
