A pedestrian was hit and killed on Interstate 25 near the South Downing Street interchange, Denver police said.

The collision happened in the northbound lanes, police said in a 7:24 p.m. Wednesday tweet.

Traffic in the area is being diverted, and an investigation is underway.

 

Fortinet Q2 Profit Rises

Fortinet (FTNT) reported that its net income for the second quarter of 2022 rose to $173.5 million or $0.21 per share, from $137.5 million or $0.16 per share in the prior year.

Non-GAAP net income per share was $0.24, compared to $0.19 in the prior year.

Total revenue for the second quarter of 2022 was $1.03 billion. an increase of 28.6% from $801.1 million last year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.22 per share and revenues of $1.03 billion for the second quarter. Analysts’ estimates typically exclude special items.

For the third quarter of 2022, Fortinet expects non-GAAP net income per share to be in the range of $0.26 to $0.28; revenue of $1.105 billion to $1.135 billion. Analysts expected the company to report earnings of $0.27 per share and revenues of $1.12 billion for the third quarter.

For the fiscal year 2022, Fortinet currently expects non-GAAP net income per share to be in the range of $1.01 to $1.06; revenue of $4.350 billion to $4.400 billion. Wall Street currently is looking for fiscal year 2022 earnings of $1.03 per share on annual revenues of $4.38 billion.

Adaptive Biotechnologies Q2 Loss Widens; Stock Up

Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp. (ADPT) reported that its net loss for the second quarter of 2022 widened to $52.1 million or $0.37 per share, from $49.3 million or $0.35 per share in the same period in 2021.

ADPT closed Wednesday regular trading at $9.89 up $0.37 or 3.89%. In the after-hours the stock further gained $1.11 or 11.22%.

Revenue was $43.7 million for the quarter, representing a 13% increase from the second quarter in the prior year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.43 per share and revenues of $42.16 million. Analysts’ estimates typically exclude special items.

The company reiterated full year 2022 revenue to be in the range of $185 million to $195 million. Analysts expect revenue of $187.6 million for fiscal year 2022.

TTM Technologies Q2 Profit Edges Down

TTM Technologies Inc. (TTMI) reported that its net income for the second quarter of 2022 was $27.8 million or $0.27 per share, compared to $28.3 million or $0.26 per share in the second quarter of 2021.

On a non-GAAP basis, net income for the second quarter was $55.3 million or $0.54 per share compared to non-GAAP net income of $40.0 million or $0.36 per share, in the prior year.

Net sales for the second quarter of 2022 were $625.6 million, compared to $567.4 million in the second quarter of 2021.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.33 per share and revenues of $600.38 million for the second quarter. Analysts’ estimates typically exclude special items.

TTM estimates that revenue for the third quarter of 2022 will be in the range of $655 million to $695 million, and non-GAAP net income will be in the range of $0.41 to $0.47 per share. Analysts expect the company to report earnings of $0.35 per share and revenues of $620.39 million for the quarter

Rhön-Klinikum H1 Profit Climbs; Backs FY22 Outlook

Rhön-Klinikum AG (RKKPF.PK), a German co-operation of hospitals and clinics, on Thursday posted a rise in earnings for the first-half, helped by increased revenues. For the full-year, the company has reaffirmed its EBITDA and sales outlook.

For the six-month period to June, the German healthcare provider posted a consolidated profit of 12.77 million euros or 0.17 euro per share, compared with 8.63 million euros or 0.12 euro per share a year ago.

Earnings before taxes were at 15.74 million euros, higher than 10.61 million euros of previous year period.

Operating result (EBIT) rose to 18.12 million euros, from 11.33 million euros reported for first-half of 2021.

Rhön-Klinikum posted EBITDA of 52.76 million euros as against 46.48 million euros, on year-on-year basis.

The German healthcare provider registered revenues and other income of 817.63 million euros, compared with last year’s 777.58 million euros.

For the full-year, Rhön-Klinikum continues to expect revenues of 1.4 billion euros within a range of plus or minus 5 percent.

For 12-month period, it still projects EBITDA to be in the range of 92 million euros to 102 million euros.

Meggitt H1 Underlying Profit Rises; Organic Revenue Up 11%

Meggitt PLC (MGGT.L) reported that its first half underlying profit before tax increased to 63.6 million pounds from 48.4 million pounds, last year. Underlying earnings per share was 6.4 pence compared to 4.9 pence.

Statutory operating profit was 10.0 million pounds which included the impairment of assets relating to the MC21 due to cessation of work following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Loss before tax was 6.5 million pounds compared to profit of 33.6 million pounds, last year. Profit per share was 0.2 pence compared to 3.6 pence.

Revenue was 821.0 million pounds, up 21% from prior year. Group organic revenue was up 11% in the period. Orders were 996.9 million pounds, up 48%.

The Group is not paying an interim dividend for 2022.
