Papa John’s Pizza To Feature DOLE Pineapple Tidbits
Papa John’s has partnered with Dole Packaged Foods, LLC. as its supplier for pineapple.
“At Papa John’s we believe that pineapple belongs on pizza,” says Paul Fabre, SVP of Product Innovation at Papa John’s. “Partnering with Dole makes sense because there is nothing more important or vital to our business and to earning our customers’ trust than providing high-quality food. This starts with how we source our ingredients, including DOLE pineapple, which brings a rich sweetness to our pies.”
Papa John’s Super Hawaiian Pizza offers a taste of the tropics, loaded with sweet, juicy DOLE Pineapple tidbits, julienne-cut Canadian bacon, hickory-smoked bacon, a three-cheese blend, and real cheese made from mozzarella on Papa John’s signature sauce and original fresh, never-frozen six-ingredient dough.
Papa John’s was also the first national pizza delivery chain to announce the removal of artificial flavors and synthetic colors from its entire food menu in April of 2016, including preservatives such as BHA and BHT, flavor enhancer MSG, cellulose and partially hydrogenated oils, and high fructose corn syrup.
AT&T to Scrap Sale of Warner Bros. Video-Game Unit
AT&T Inc. has removed its Warner Bros. video-game business from the list of noncore assets up for sale, deciding it was too valuable to unload during its effort to pay down debt and streamline, according to people familiar with the situation.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, the gaming unit that is home to titles like Harry Potter: Wizards Unite and Mortal Kombat 11, had attracted interest from several major companies and could have reaped $4 billion, as reported by CNBC in June. But AT&T balked given the business’s growth potential, said the people, asking not to be identified because the information is private.
AT&T began working with LionTree Advisors earlier this year to explore a potential sale of the business, according to two of the people familiar with the matter. AT&T declined to comment.
The decision to abandon the sale came amid a turnover in senior leadership at AT&T. In July, Chief Operating Officer John Stankey took over as chief executive officer after Randall Stephenson left that role, remaining chairman.

We Asked for Universal Healthcare and Got… Animal Crossing Signs?
Joe Biden has taken virtual campaigning to a new meta level: Animal Crossing. On September 1, Biden and his VP pick Sen. Kamala Harris partnered with Animal Crossing: New Horizon to allow players to put up official Biden-Harris campaign signs to their island yards. According to The Verge, a handful of gaming influencers were also contacted to promote this campaign. Players can select between four variations: the official Biden-Harris logo, a Team Joe logo, the “Joe” Pride logo, and an image of aviator sunglasses shaded in red, white, and blue.
But what is presumed to be an effort to reach the “youth vote” has not gone over well with the actual youths. In a move that surprises absolutely no one, Gen Z in particular have taken to mocking the campaign on social media.
