She dished the details about her bond with her grandchild during a virtual event with children’s author Beatrice Blue to celebrate the launch of her latest storybook. She told Beatrice: “August already thinks I’m funny because I’m dancing.” And Sarah, 61, told of how she also uses her playful dancing moves to entertain her five-year-old step-grandson Christopher Woolf, known as Wolfie.
Princess Beatrice, 32, became step-mum to the little boy last summer when she married Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
The couple have been snapped out and about with Wolfie, whose mum is Edo’s ex-fiancee, Dara Huang, a Chinese-American architect.
Sarah revealed the youngster finds her “very funny”.
The Duchess enjoys close relationships with both her daughters and has kept strong links with members of the Royal Family despite divorcing Prince Andrew.
The mother-of-two lives with her ex-husband at Royal Lodge in the ground of Windsor Castle.
Princess Eugenie, 31, and her husband Jack Brooksbank, 35, live nearby at Frogmore Cottage with their son.
The couple hosted Prince Harry, 36, for a week when he flew in for Prince Philip’s funeral.
Beatrice and Edo on the other hand live at St James’s Palace in London.
Over the weekend Bea was spotted driving in the Windsor area with her mum.
Since giving birth to August in February, Eugenie has shared multiple snaps of her baby on social media.

However, she is careful to protect his privacy and so his face cannot often be seen.
Earlier this month she posted a series of photo to wish Jack a happy birthday.
One showed him cradling the baby who was dressed in an adorable knitted cardigan with his name embroidered on the back.
Another showed Jack carrying his young son in a pouch while out in the countryside.
Eugenie wrote: “You are exceptional… Happy Birthday my love.”
The next royal baby on the scene will be Harry and Meghan’s daughter who is due in the coming weeks.
The little girl will be the 11th great-grandchild for Her Majesty.
And she will be Prince Charles’ fifth grandchild.
Meghan showcased her growing baby bump in her latest appearance at the Global Citizen’s live concert.
