Relations between Prince Harry and Prince William have reportedly been tense since the Sussexes’ tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle sat down with the US chat show host to discuss their time as senior royals and their decision to step back from their duties.

The Duke of Sussex told Oprah that he thinks his brother is “trapped” in the Royal Family.

Harry and William’s relationship has reportedly broken down in recent years.

In 2019, Harry said he and his brother were “on different paths”.

During the Oprah interview, the Duke reiterated how he is on a “different path” to William and added: “The relationship is space at the moment.

“And, you know, time heals all things, hopefully.”

But according to experts and sources, the Queen believes it will all work out in the end.

The former Palace press secretary Charles Anson told People magazine that Her Majesty “absorbs things quietly”.

A source also told the magazine: “She has been through so many difficult times.

“She knows things will come right in the end.”

Prince Harry returned to the UK for his grandfather’s funeral last Saturday.

Prince Philip died earlier this month aged 99 and was the longest serving British royal consort.

The Duke of Sussex’s return to Britain was the first time he has been seen alongside the Royal Family since he and Meghan relocated to the US in March last year.
