Princess Kate shares her adorable nickname for Prince Louis
Prince Louis joins William, Kate, George and Charlotte to volunteer in Slough
Princess Kate has shared the adorable nickname she has for her youngest child Prince Louis while he tucked into a delicious s’more marshmallow sandwich. Louis and his older siblings Prince George and Princess Charlotte joined their parents at the 3rd Upton Scouts Hut in Slough to assist with renovations to the building as part of the Big Help Out and were snapped enjoying marshmallows afterwards as a tasty reward for their hard work.

The five-year-old took a break from helping his dad Prince William with some digging to toast some marshmallows, and even got some smoke blown in his face.
However this did not stop him enjoying the delicious snack which Kate and a scout member helped him to prepare.
The Princess of Wales revealed her cute nickname for Louis as she told him to pop his wooden stick in the fire, as she affectionately referred to him as ‘Lou-Bugs’.
The little Prince immediately popped the sticky s’more into his mouth and licked the marshmallow off his fingers before tucking in.
In the background, William can be heard joking about his youngest son: “You won’t hear a peep out of him now!”
After his first bite he turned around and appeared to roll his head in excitement, accidentally bumping into Charlotte in the process.
Earlier Louis helped his dad out on the digger as he moved the mechanical arm to grab a bucket full of soil before dumping it on a spoil heap.

Louis was also given the task of filling a wheelbarrow with what looked like builders’ sand and he diligently shoveled the material before wheeling the barrow himself.
The whole family joined volunteers at the 3rd Upton Scouts Hut to help with work including resetting a path, digging a new soakaway, sanding and revarnishing the front door, adding planters to the front of the building and adding a mural to create a lasting legacy of the Big Help Out’s work.
The 3rd Upton Scouts Hut was built in 1982 and is used by a variety of community groups in the area, including the local mosque, a senior citizens contact group for members of the Asian community as well as the Scouts themselves.
Kate has also been Joint President of the Scouts since 2020 and was there to oversee her children’s hard work.

The scouts hut is only a short drive away from the Wales family home at Adelaide Cottage, with the children also attending nearby Lambrook School.
Their appearance comes just hours after they attended the Coronation Concert at Windsor Castle last night, although Louis stayed at home for the occasion.
However, the cheeky royal still stole the show on Coronation Day, with big sister Charlotte given the task of looking out for him on the day.
During William and Kate’s visit to the Windsor Long Walk yesterday the prince explained how “tired” his daughter was after the big day.
He said: “She’s very tired after yesterday. She’s having a quiet day at home. It was making sure her little brother behaved himself.”
