The Princess, 32, was seen beaming alongside her spouse while tucking into a bowl of what appeared to be ice-cream or frozen yoghurt. The Queen’s granddaughter opted for a casual look with no make-up and her auburn locks tied up in a messy bun.

Her blossoming bump protruded out from her unbuttoned tweed-style jacket.

The young Princess kept things simple with pink leopard print dress over black leggings and flat boots.

Edo, 38, also went for a laid back look with navy cords, a white shirt and a navy sweater.

Earlier today, a statement posted on the Royal family’s offical Twitter account announced the royal baby news.

It read: “Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in autumn of this year.

“The Queen has been informed and both families are delighted with the news.”

In February the Yorks welcomed their newest member of the family when Princess Eugenie gave birth to August.

The tot, who arrived two years after she wed husband Jack Brooksbank, is 11th in line to the throne.

However, he will be bumped down the pecking order when Prince Harry and Meghan’s daughter arrives in the summer.

And later this year little August will move further back in the line of succession when his cousin is born to Beatrice and Edoardo.

When the couple tied the knot in a private ceremony last summer Beatrice became step-mum to Edo’s young son, Christopher Woolf, who is known as “Wolfie”.

Bea has on multiple occasions been spotted running errands in west London with the five-year-old in tow.

The Princess was forced to postpone her wedding at St James’s Palace last spring as the Covid pandemic took hold.

Instead, the couple opted for a Covid-secure wedding in the summer after some restrictions were relaxed.

The Queen and Prince Philip were among the handful of royal guests to watch Prince Andrew walk his eldest daughter down the aisle last July.

The bride, who borrowed a gown from her grandmother, and groom became man and wife in a ceremony held at the Royal Chapel of All Saints in Windsor.

As they settled into married life lockdown restrictions were re-imposed and the couple are believed to have isolated with Edo’s mother, Nikki Shale, at her £1.5 million country mansion near Chipping Norton.

But earlier this year reports suggested the pair had returned to Beatrice’s home at St James’s Palace in London.

Bea had previously shared the flat with Eugenie before she moved out in the run up to her wedding to Jack.

Beatrice and Edoardo knew each other as children as their families were acquainted.

But their romantic relationship didn’t begin until after they two bumped into each other at Eugenie’s wedding in October 2018.

Soon after they became a couple and were often spotted on nights out in west London.
