Prince Harry’s ‘close friend’ fears Duke and Meghan will SKIP wedding amid megxit review
Meghan Markle and Harry 'blindsided' Queen with exit says expert
Chloe Madeley, who is married to Harry’s long time friend James Haskell, said plans are underway for a “big fat party” in the south of France the Sussexes will be invited to. However, she has expressed doubts as to whether the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex will accept the invitation.
Speaking to Dailymail.co.uk Ms Madeley admitted there were plans to host a Mediterranean ceremony but explained that the details will not be revealed yet.
She said: “Yes, they [Prince Harry and Meghan] will be invited, but whether or not they will come is a different question entirely.
“James and Harry go way back and they’ve stayed in touch.
“Because so many of our friends have had to reschedule their weddings, James and I felt it would be selfish to tell everybody to book out a weekend for our wedding when we’re already married. So we’re going to stay quiet on that front for at least a year.
“We were going to do it in Mykonos, but now it will likely be the south of France, which is where my parents have a house. We’ll have a big fat party with everyone.”

Ms Madeley, who is the daughter of TV personalities Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan, confessed that the Duke and the Duchess had inspired she and Mr Haskell’s wedding in 2018.
The couple changed their initial register office ceremony for a “traditional” wedding at Berkshire’s All Saints Church.
She told Hello!: “I think it was Meghan and Harry’s wedding that inspired James to choose to get married in church.
“He sat me down and said, ‘I can tell you why I love you every day but I won’t get to make these vows unless we marry in church. I want to get married in a serious, historical ceremony.’
“It was very romantic. Until then I’d assumed we’d just pop in to a registry office.
“Now I find the thought of standing in front of him in church very exciting. I love him to bits.”
Meghan and Harry are set to undergo a Megxit review this year with the Queen allegedly warning her grandson she will not accept cherrypicking.
According to a Palace insider, the Monarch said she would not tolerate a half-in-half-out situation and asked Harry to “walk away” if he couldn’t “accept that”.

The royal source told the Mail: “Harry was told very clearly in January by his grandmother that ‘you work for the monarchy, the monarchy doesn’t work for you’.”
They added: “Her Majesty was remarkably clear and decisive on that point and has never deviated from it, not once.
“I think what has evolved this year across the Atlantic has only served to prove her point.
“The Queen is very firmly of the opinion that you can’t pick and choose what you do when it comes to the institution. Either you are in, or you are out.”
The insider pointed out how the Duke and the Duchess’ choices did not align with the Firm.
The source added: “It was their choice to leave and seek their fortunes elsewhere.
“No one exiled them. Indeed, the Queen made clear she didn’t want Harry and Meghan to go and that they are still very much-loved members of her family and have her support.
“Harry and Meghan are clearly where they want to be, and good luck to them. But their subsequent career choices have scuppered any chance of retaining even a quasi-official royal role.”
