Mum-of-three planning her wedding dies hours after waking up

Ms de Andrade has just returned from a family stay at a Haven holiday park in North Wales when she started feeling unwell.

She reportedly went for a lied own on April 26 before waking up hours later with a high temperature.

She was taken to hospital where she suffered a series of seizures before being put into an induced coma. She died later that day.

Her death has left her fiancé and her three sons, Jacob, 12, Noah, 10, and Lewi, three, devastated at the loss of a partner and a mother.

Her friend, Lauren Guest, told the Liverpool Echo that Ashleigh was “absolutely fine” in the weeks leading up to her death.

She said: “It was all really quick and sudden so it makes it even more devastating. They came back on Sunday (April 23) after being away with her three boys and partner. She didn’t feel too good so she went up to bed for a little sleep.”

She added: “Her partner woke her up a few hours later. She was sweating. He took her to the hospital to get checked and she had a couple of seizures in the hospital.”

Lauren said that Ashleigh is believed to have experienced a bleed on the brain and meningitis.

Lauren said that Ashleigh’s three sons were her “pride and joy” while she was planning her dream wedding with fiancé Jordan.

She added: “I don’t think even there are enough words to describe her. She was beautiful inside and out. She’d do absolutely anything for you. She was a happy little soul.”

Following Ashleigh’s death, a GoFundMe has been set up in her honour. On the page, the tribute says: “Ashleigh was in her second year of university studying Mental Health Nursing she was so excited to be a nurse and was absolutely smashing her degree with such a bright future ahead of her and her beautiful little family.

“These plans have been taken away far too soon & she will forever hold a special place in so many people’s hearts.”
