German and Chinese cabinets meet while political grounds are shifting
BERLIN – When Chinese and German ministers meet virtually on Wednesday (April 28) for the sixth intergovernmental consultations, they will try to make it look like just another meeting between trade partners.
German chancellor Angela Merkel will hold bilateral talks with Chinese premier Li Keqiang, while the ministers discuss climate change, the pandemic and economic cooperation.
