Fans react to Princess Eugenie’s heartwarming valentine’s selfie with husband
Princess Eugenie, daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, posted the throwback picture to Instagram on Valentine’s Day. She explained how the picture was from 2010 – the year that she met her now husband, Jack Brooksbank.
In the caption, she wrote: “This Valentine’s Day I wanted to share an oldie but a goodie of Jack and I in 2010, the year we met.
“Happy Valentine’s Day.”
Royal fans revelled in the old snap, expressing their joy over the couple’s happy marriage – they tied the knot in 2018.
One user wrote: “That’s lovely, you were so young!
“Wishing a very happy Valentine’s day to you and Jack,and many many more to come!”
Another said: “Lovely picture of a stunning couple!”
A third user wrote: “It’s lovely photo.”
Princess Eugenie’s show of business-as-usual comes amid a family effort to adjust to life after the departure of Meghan and Harry from royal duties.

The pair announced they would leave their roles in an Instagram post last month.
Fans and royal watchers have since relished at the chance of finding out how the royal family felt about the news, and what they might do next.
So far, the Queen has been the only member of the royal family to release an official statement about Harry and Megan’s departure.

Harry’s brother, Prince William, and his wife, the Duchess of Cambridge, are yet to speak on the matter.
They did, however, laugh at a joke made by Brad Pitt about Harry leaving the UK, during the BAFTA’s in January.
The reality, according to Insider, is that fans will likely never know the personal impact the Sussex’s move has had on certain family members.
Yet, the publication says it appears the family as a whole is portraying a united front and connecting like never before.
On Tuesday, William, Kate, Prince Charles and Camilla stepped out for a rare joint engagement.
Photos of William and Charles engaged in father-son fun, William sat in a wheelchair while Charles stood by and grabbed his shoulders, moved many royal watchers.
The couples then played wheelchair basketball at the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre.
Kate has also been busying herself since “Megxit” and, according to one royal expert, it’s no coincidence.
The Duchess has toured England, Wales, Northern Ireland, and Scotland to encourage people to complete her early years survey on childhood development.
Kate’s survey has attracted 200,000 responses; and according to a press release from Kensington Palace this makes it the biggest ever open survey of its kind in the UK.
