Tonight’s EuroMillions draw gives one lucky person the chance to change their lives with a staggering sum of £46million. The EuroMillions draw takes place every Tuesday and Friday, meaning players have not just one, but two chances at becoming a multi-millionaire.

The EuroMillions is a lottery played across nine different countries in Europe.

How can I play EuroMillions?

You can either play EuroMillions in store, via an authorised retailer in any participating country, or online.

The general steps of playing both in store or online are essentially the same.

Start by choosing your five main numbers from one to 50, and two Lucky Stars from one to 12.

Decide how many lines you want to buy.

Make sure to buy your entires before the cutoff time for that draw, and relax and wait for the results.

Ticket sales close at 7.30pm on the night of the draw, but reopen at 9pm, giving you the opportunity to take part in the next game.

UK ticket holders also have an extra chanced to win £1million thanks to the Millionaire Maker, which is a supplementary game included when you enter EuroMillions.

You will receive one code for every combination of EuroMillions numbers you play, which is included in the price of a ticket, so you don’t need to do anything extra.

A winning Millionaire Maker code is drawn alongside each EuroMillions draw.

If the code on your ticket matches the winning code exactly, that means you are a winner.

EuroMillions HotPicks is a separate game in which the five main numbers from the EuroMillions draw are used, and players can decide how many of the numbers they want to try and match.

For example, you can choose to try and match just one number to win £10, or try to match all five for £1million.

You will need to opt into the game, which costs £1.50 per entry.
