Prince Louis was captured playing tag with mum Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge in a touching video uploaded to the royals’ social media. The video was accompanied by a message which thanked the public for sending in their well-wishes on their 10th wedding anniversary. The video also saw Louis’ siblings, Charlotte and George, take centre stage as the family roasted marshmallows on an open fire and took walks on Norfolk beach.

The 40-second video uploaded on the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s social media showed a rare side to the family.

While the younger royals are often shielded away from major events, the short video showed a more relaxed picture of the Cambridges.

The video captured William and Kate take a hike on a beach with their children who could be seen laughing and smiling throughout.

Kate could be seen holding the youngest, Prince Louis, throughout whose cheeky personality could be seen by all.

Prince William could also be seen getting in on the action as he chased Charlotte and George through their garden.

The chases continue later on in the video as Kate is seen playing tag with Louis.

The video concludes with the family around a fire as Kate and William embrace each other.

In a joint tweet from their Kensington Royal Twitter page, they said: “Thank you to everyone for the kind messages on our wedding anniversary. We are enormously grateful for the 10 years of support we have received in our lives as a family.”

The royal couple have been together for 18 years in total.

Prince William is 'enormously proud' of Kate says expert

Royal fans erupted in delight at the rare video with Vanity Fair Royal Editor Katie Nicholls commenting: “So beautiful, Happy Anniversary!”

Others found the video to be too emotional as some said they were crying at how cute it was.

One viewer wrote below the video: “You are both a great credit to yourselves, your families and the whole of the United Kingdom.”

Kate and William also published new photos ahead of their 10-year wedding anniversary.

It comes after palace insiders claimed Prince Charles may reduce the Royal Family to only seven members.

While some commentators have debated the reasoning behind this, some have suggested the move could be to free up other royal members to be non-working and to show the family could be “economical”.

The slimmed down line-up would include Prince Charles, Camilla and the Cambridges.

Prince Harry and Meghan are believed to be left out of the new lineup and some fear Prince Charles may follow through on a new letters patent which may limit royal titles.
