Lidl launch new hair tools range inspired by GHD and Dyson – but so much cheaper
While we’ve been lusting after the Dyson hair dryer since what feels like before the internet even existed, we might finally be able to test out the tool’s famed technology, as Lidl has started selling its very own version.
The famously cheap supermarket has just announced a new range of hair styling tools and accessories hot on the heels of GHD and Dyson.
Very similar to the newly-launched GHD glide brush – which retails at £125 – Lidl have just launched an innovative heated hair brush that detangles and straightens your hair, as well as adding volume.
And rather than over £100, Lidl’s version will only set you back a much more justified £14.99.
The ceramic heat element heats up quickly, and is adjustable from 120 to 210°C – slightly different to GHD’s offering, which consistently works at an optimum heat of 185°C.
As for that fake Dyson hairdryer, Lidl’s version is, incredibly, less than a tenner, costing just £9.99 for the revolutionary 2,200W ionic hair dryer.
Meanwhile Dyson’s famous Supersonic hair dryer will set you back £299.99 at John Lewis, and is rarely spotted on sale.
Although rather than boasting a design similar to Dyson’s statement genius, Lidl’s is pink with flowers on.
And while we can’t say the standard is the same, for a tenner, it’s certainly worth a shot…
Ionic hair dryers are the new scientific beauty trend on the block, helping to dry hair faster but also with less frizz thanks to ion technology.
It also comes with some bonus attachments like a diffuser and concentrator if you want some extra silk.
They also appear to have launched their own version of a tangle teezer for £1.99 – only £6 cheaper than the hotly rated original, which you can get from Amazon for £8.21 right now.
